You deserve to know what you can expect from us before you receive your puppy.

One of the most important questions that you should ask of any breeder is: "What is your (the breeder’s) guarantee that we’ll (the buyers) receive a happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppy that will stay that way?"

While we cannot vouch for every DDB breeder, here's what you can ­ and should - expect from us:

  • All of our 'babies' will be delivered to you in a safe & secure way and current on all vaccinations. Our shipping charges may be more since we do insure all pups shipped via air cargo. However, we also offer a flat $250 fee to have puppies hand-delivered to the nearest International Airport in your area.
  • All pups will be vetted within 72 hours of being shipped/delivered, in addition, all pups are micro chipped with an AKC ® Home Again ® microchip. The microchip registration form will be included with your shot record.
  • A shot record will be included in your 'puppy packet', along with 2 informational brochures from NuVet Labs ™ on the supplements that we require all Von Krenz Bordeaux ® bred pups/dogues to remain on during the duration of our warranty & your Home Again ® microchip registration certificate.
  • Your pup will be freshly bathed, nails trimmed, ears cleaned prior to shipping (please note, puppies have been known to have accidents during their travels) & ready to greet you with 'open paws' upon arrival at your location.
  • Your puppy packet will include his/her AKC ® and/or UKC ® registration application along with a breed specific Dogue De Bordeaux book by Joseph Janish. This is a Kennel Club Book ™ that should answer all of your basic puppy questions.
  • All Von Krenz Bordeaux ® stud dogues have a AKC ® DNA profile so that you can be assured of his or her lineage. We are also in the process of DNA’ing all of our current breeding females as well.
  • Your pup will undergo a thorough health exam by an experienced & licensed Doctor of Veterinarian Medicine to ensure that everything is.
  • If you are requesting a male dogue, both testes will be checked.

In the event that any exam reveals a reason for concern, that party will be notified and alternate arrangements will be made for a puppy from the very next litter.

Upon receipt of your Von Krenz Bordeaux ® pup you will have three days (weekends/holidays excluded) to have it examined by your vet to verify that he/she has arrived to you healthy.

In the unlikely event that something should happen in transit that affects the health of your pup, please notify us immediately so that we can work to rectify the situation. By either: getting it corrected at your end or making arrangements to have the pup sent back to us or by allowing us to send you payment to cover such incidentals.

We offer a 5-year replacement warranty on any pup that should succumb to any life-threatening, genetic defect of your pup for up to 5-years.

We will guarantee against any life threatening* or severely crippling hip/elbow dysplasia for up to 5-years.

"Life-threatening" defined herein as any condition in which two independent veterinarians {one of our choice} conclude that euthanasia is in the best interest of the afflicted dogue.
