On this page we introduce you to "Baby" our Guyana Yellow Nape Amazon & "Honeymoon" our Honduran Yellow Nape Amazon. Baby & Honeymoon are constant fixtures here in our home. No visitor to our home has been spared of their wild & crazy Amazon antics!

Mark acquired Baby back in 1981 when she was just a week old. Baby was hand-fed and completely imprinted on Mark. She has been with him through thick & thin, a constant companion on Mark's many moves around the country. Only during his deployments abroad did Baby leave his side. For several years Baby was kept with Grandma & Grandpa Roberts, while in their care Baby learned all the names of Mark's nieces, whom Baby will often call for today.

Honeymoon was acquired around 1995, today he is 40+ years old. Honeymoon is a real stinker, he will bite you at every chance he gets! Yet Mark continues to put up with his nasty attitude because Honeymoon is a real entertainer. His favorite song to sing is Happy Birthday! Honeymoon loves to call the "Kitty" as well! Our Honeymoon will readily jump up on a stick to be moved from cage to playpen to outdoor play mansion!

Over the years, both Baby & Honeymoon have provided us countless hours of entertainment, along with entertaining the many, many visitors to our home.

This is "Honeymoon", he's been part of the family since 1995, he's about 40 years old. His favorite thing is to sing "Happy Birthday"!
