Von Krenz Mousse

My Bordeaux search started with questions to my vet and books at the Pet store, it ended when I found Mark Roberts of Von Krenz Bordeaux. I was very impressed with Mark’s website and the detailed information and photos of his gorgeous Bordeaux’s. My husband and I logged onto Mark’s website about 100 times before we finally made the call. He was very professional and extremely helpful. Owning a breed like the Bordeaux isn’t for everyone so we wanted to make sure we were going to make good parents. Mark answered all of our crazy questions with honesty and a bit of humor that put us right at ease. After finishing an application and qualifying for a puppy we were on our way!

After our waiting period, we got the call to meet Mark and our puppy in L.A.

Mark was very nice and very happy to finally meet us as well. I couldn’t believe how beautiful Mousse was and how tall Mark is! I couldn’t wait to bring Mousse

home and show him off to everyone especially our female Bulldog. Before heading back home to Orange County, Mark answered more crazy questions.

He gave us great advice in caring for our new puppy and also supplied us with

puppy food and paper work. Mark repeated more than once that if we had any problems to call him immediately no matter what the time was. He also gave us his cell phone number so that he could be reached anywhere. This made me feel secure and relieved to know that if we somehow could not care for Mousse, he would always have a home with Mark.

Mousse will be two years old in August and has come a long way from puppy hood. Mousse showed for the first time at the DDBS Show in Henderson, Nevada last March. Mousse placed third and also completed and passed his Temperament Test. The Judge gave Mousse a, “Very good”, and wrote very positive comments. After reading his scores, I realized what a “quality” dog my Husband and I own. I had never shown a dog before so I was thankful to have Mark there. He gave me great pointers on what and what not to do. Mousse had great exposure to other Bordeaux’s and received great compliments from the other owners. I was beaming at the attention and felt like such the proud Mom. When I looked over my shoulder, I saw a proud Grandpa Mark as well!

Our family can’t thank Mark and Patricia enough for our boy Mousse and hope

they continue to breed great quality dogue’s.
